The Institute for Education closed out its 2025 season by bringing together Washington, D.C.’s Tech-for-Gov community for an evening celebrating innovation in the nation’s capital. Hosted at the Embassy of Portugal, IFE leadership welcomed current and former White House Presidential Innovation Fellows, technologists, and IFE supporters from across sectors.
The reception was co-hosted by H.E. Francisco António Duarte Lopes, Ambassador of Portugal, and joined by fellow ambassadors Iztok Mirošič (Slovenia), Ralf Heckner (Switzerland), Talal Al Rahbi (Oman), Georg Sparber (Liechtenstein), and Dr. Petra Schneebauer (Austria), along with representatives from the United Kingdom, Denmark, Panama, and the Czech Republic.
